Medicine Maker Retreat | MahaDevi Ayahuasca

A small, intimate Ayahuasca retreat in the Colombian Putumayo — rooted in indigenous Camsá lineage, held with deep care, integration, and community.

Putumayo, Colombia · 2026-07-24 – 2026-07-31

Medicine Maker Retreat | MahaDevi Ayahuasca

A small group joins Taita Miguel to help prepare the fresh Crudo Ayahuasca (Yagé) they'll later drink in ceremony. Two mornings, working by hand, in the same way the Camsá lineage has done for twelve generations. Then they drink what they helped make.

What makes it special

A genuinely small group. Ceremonies tailored to the individual rather than the crowd. A traditional Camsá Taita with 35+ years in the medicine. A Western-trained integration team (Ania & Yasha) holding the space before, during and after. And a guest community that becomes, for many, the most meaningful part of the week.

MahaDevi is not a high-volume ayahuasca center. It is a small, family-run retreat in the Putumayo jungle of Colombia, the traditional home of the medicine. Guests are welcomed into the lineage of Taita Miguel Chindoy of the Camsá people, who has been working with Yagé (Ayahuasca) for over 35 years. Every week is limited to a small group so that each person is seen, supported, and never lost in a crowd. What makes MahaDevi different is the level of personal attention. Ceremonies are tailored — your dose, your pacing, your work. Outside of ceremony, you are held by a bilingual integration team led by Ania and Yasha, who walk alongside you through the highs, the hard parts, and the days after. People consistently describe the week as feeling less like a retreat and more like coming home to family.
